This is an incredibly refined machine; every detail has been carefully considered and implemented. For example, the integrated cable lock is astonishingly useful; I can grab my wallet and cruise to the store at 19mph, lock up in seconds, and hang a filled grocery bag from the sturdy clip on the handlebar (which is actually the folding hook) for the ride home.
I never feel unsafe riding the Alpha, and I don't have to worry about flats due to the semi-solid construction of the tires (they are pneumatic and have valves, but do not use inner tubes). I weigh 160 pounds, and this scooter will cruise up long, steep hills without dropping below 14 mph. The throttle is high-precision, which is important for experienced scooter peeps, because you mostly steer through right-angles by varying acceleration. When Razor switched to an on-off throttle on their E300 models years ago it ruined the experience. A precise throttle--and the power the back it up--are essential.
You don't need the bluetooth app to use all the Alpha's features, and I wouldn't bother downloading it. It's easy to change any setting with just the power button.
If I get 300 rides to the store (about five miles round trip) out of this scooter then I will only be paying a dollar per trip, which is an insanely efficient use of money. I have expensive bikes (including a carbon fiber racer) that I normally ride, but honestly... no bike can compare to the experience of levitating on a well-engineered scooter. It's just safer, and much more comfortable. At my age I don't care for the physical anguish pedal-powered bikes entail for my neck, knees, wrists, back... you get the point.
If you're thinking about getting one of these... don't hesitate. Crazy cool machine.

Love the app so you can lock it. Battery could be stronger, struggles to go uphill and slow to accelerate but once it’s going, you’re going!

Excellent scooter. Easy to assemble and store away. Battery holds charge per description given. Speed is accurate to description given as well. Battery holds charge longer on the eco or drive modes. Brakes work well. Rear suspension is good on bumps. Wish it had front suspension as well but it’ll do. Over all, happy with this scooter!!!

I use this to commute to work, and it has been doing a good job with that.

Endurance up to 20-30 km depending on the terrain and other characteristics. The maximum speed I set was 31 km/h. It is not heavy, it carries well. It charges fairly quickly. Good tire properties. Simple control. I recommend

App lock is convenient but it is not effective enough to protect your scooter from thefting. Cable locks remain the most affordable option. Anything that wraps around and fits inside a cable lock can be secured. (If the location allows for it, we always recommend bringing your eScooter inside with you though.)
Tubeless tires have no inner tube. They massively improve puncture resistance thanks to an inventive solution that foregoes the inner tube. A tubeless tyre offers lower rolling resistance, which makes the vehicle feel lighter while on the go. The life span of a tubeless tyre is longer compared to a tube-type tyre. The air in this tube doubles up as a cushion and makes for a smooth and comfortable riding experience.
The light on the charger will turn green from red when the scooter is fully charged. It takes around 6 hours from empty battery to full.
The range is 25 miles from a single charge. It was tested fully charged, with a 75kg rider at 25°C, with no wind on a level road in pedestrian mode at a uniform velocity of 15km/h. Actual results may vary
based on differences in temperature, load, wind speed, road conditions and other factors.
It can take the weight up to 120kg/265lbs. It is not recommended to exceed the maximum load as it would affect the performance by putting more strain on the suspension and motor, lowering top speeds and overall range, and increase the chances of maintenance problems with the scooter.
